Exchange backup failed with Errors

Question

Hello, Since two days customer receives following error message and backup failed. savegrp: suppressed 13 lines of output. 38008:nsrxchsv:Internal system error, please see nsr\applogs\xbsa.messages on the client system for reason. 46778:nsrxchsv:Error saving GUID for database Public Folder Database 46774:nsrxchsv:The backup of Second Storage Group failed; status is 0x00000003. 46767:nsrxchsv:Completed backup of Second Storage Group Status: 0x00000003 The system cannot find the path specified. 46885:nsrxchsv:Backup operation finished with errors. No savetime was sent. 43709:nsrxchsv:Stop time: Tue Nov 11 23:02:51 2008 Has the customer made any changes suddenly or what is the reason for the failure? kind regards, M*

Hi,We have had this error several times. Only solution we have found is restart the Exchange.

Hello.We tried to reset Exchange server but we get the same error.The OS on server is Windows Server 2008 64-bit version.Any other suggestions?Thanks!

if it is a cluster run the networker services under the same account as your cluster service is running

Hello,Server has been restarted, I have stopped the service, deleted the tmp file. Restarted networker sercice and ran the backup again. Backup was successful.Best regards,M*

what temp file did you delete i have the same problem

Scott,       I guess he is referin gto the renaming if the /nsr/tmp folder. HTH, Rovin D'Souza.
