Getting error like nsrlcpd is not running
Hi,
The Library is working fine , but i would try to do mounting the tape and take inventory or labeling the tape immediately getting an error like nsrlcpd is not running , I checked the nsrlcpd service , it is running and in inquire i can see the library and i dit find any problem in configuring the library through the jbconfig , I removed the zoning in library and again added that , still there is a problem . What might be a problem .

How are you attempting to do the mount, inventory or label operation? Please check your storage node for the NetWorker server Is it listed long name or short name? Is this listed the same way as the NetWorker Server is listed for the server configuration? They should match.

Wait until nsrmmdbd and nsrindexd starts up, then invoke:
nsrmmgd ¿D 7 |& tee nsrmmgd.log
This will generate a debug logs...

I had this issue in March and there are new binaries available. Please log an SR on Powerlink and the Technical Dept. should give you the new binaries.
Remember to rename the old binaries to "_old" so that you can fallback if there is a need.
After changing the binaries on my Backup server, I had no issues with NSRLCPD not running.
Thanks.
