homebase PXE boot environment

hi,

Im trying homebase, so i have an evaluation licence.

i would like to deploy a boot PXE test. To do that i enabled

TFTP and DHCP service in HB.

I tried to boot PXE from a virtual machine the machine detect the dhcp and the tftp

but i have an error message

I didn't play (yet) with PXE based DR, but are you sure deplyment server is configure? (see link).  By looking at it, it looks as your deplyment server is returning this message.  I know Windows team tested it here where I'm now and they were happy with it, but since they did isolate test I was not involved so I do not have all details of configuration they made.

ok, So i need a deployment server to have a PXE environment ?

because in my case i tested HB in windows 2008 server and the querstion is, if i have a linux machine in wich i installed HB what should i do ?

Ah sorry, I just figure out you are running HB... I though you were referring to NW DISASTER RECOVERY saveset.  I'm not sure if there is a difference when using HB, but I suspect (guess) there isn't.  I'm not familiar with H, but I remeber TFTP was one of possible protocols to be used to access PXE boot image from HB server so I assume (guess again) that one would be used in case you would have Linux HB server with PXE image stored (not sure if that works, but I see no reason why it shouldn't).  Not sure if anyone else has worked with HB here and if it can give more details and real life experience...
