Hub Cas Server Backup
Hi,
I have two Hub-Cas servers and need to take the backup of both the servers. Although, i have done same configuration for both the servers, the backup for one server is getting succeeded while for the other it is getting failed. The error message is as follows:
39078:save: SYSTEM error: client `10.xxx.xxx.xxx' is not properly configured on the NetWorker Server
5777:save: Cannot open save session with < >
: Failed with error(s)
Please help me out with this problem.
Regards,
Pratik

Thanks Guys, my issue has been resolved. Because each Hub Cas server had two IP's - Primary & Secondary, so i had to add the entry for secondary IP as well in the Aliases list.
Thank you all for your suggestions.
Cheers,
Pratik.

Try backup after adding clients ipaddress in the aliases list.
NMC > configuration > clients > Clinet properties > Global (1of 2) > aliases.

Check DNS registration for the CAS Server. Even though you have aliases defined for the CAS Server, Networker still does a nslookup and could be getting different results for the reverse lookup as opposed to the forward lookup. It is not uncommon for old PTR records to remain for Servers that no longer are in existence.
