Inserting the group name into the savegroup completion subject line?
Hi,
I'm looking for a way to insert the group name into the subject line of the savegroup completion report. As we have over 60 groups spread across two networker servers, it can be a bit frustrating searching for the savegroup completion report for a particular group. I realise a work around would be to simply script up some mminfo reports and pipe them to an email, but it would be far simpler and more elegant to simply insert the group name into the automatically generated completion report.
Up until now I've been looking at ways to use the "Printer" variable that is set in the group configuration window and attempting to echo the variable into the subject line in the notification configuration window, but haven't had any success with this yet. Has anyone out there been able to achieve this yet, or can think of a way to do this ?
We're using Networker 7.2.1 for UNIX (Solaris 2.8).
Cheers,
Michael
