Installing Networker 7.6 Clients on Networker 7.4 Server
Hi, we recently decided to upgrade our Networker environment from 7.4 to 7.6, first we started with clients and when planning server upgrade we noticed that on the document generated by Networker Procedure Generator it indicate that there's no compatibility on Solaris 8, so we noticed we were going to go on too much trouble to upgrade from one version to other, we prefered to wait on the new release. My question is, do we have to rollback the client upgrade cause of the new type of licencing on 7.6, or no?

NetWorker 7.6 clients should work with NetWorker 7.4 Server and the new licensing changes should not impact your existing environment. Are you running your NetWorker Server on Solaris 8? Any plans to upgrade your Server to the later versions.
These are the dates from Sun on their support dates and policy for Solaris: http://www.sun.com/service/eosl/eosl_solaris.html
Cheers!

We are planning on upgrade Solaris 8 to a newer version, but when there's a new point release of Networker (version 8 for example).

Ok, but do i have to upgrade the licences of this clients or do no changes? My doubt comes of this note or this only apply if we upgrade the license server.

This note is applicable only when you upgrade the NetWorker server version or the License Manager version.

The note about the license upgrade has nothing to do with the license manager. This simply means that when you upgrade you NW server, you need to contact the licensing department at licensing@emc.com with the exisiting 7.4 license key. Explain that you are upgrading and ask a new authorization code.
Please note the following
Licensing Requirements and Changes
In NetWorker 7.6 and later, the installation process detects if a previous version of the NetWorker software is installed. If an upgrade is performed from a version of NetWorker earlier than 7.5.x, the update enabler code is automatically added. When the server is upgraded, the update enabler code must be authorized within 45 days or the server will be disabled. An update enabler code is not generated, or required when upgrading from 7.5.x to NetWorker 7.6.x.
Note: Contact EMC Licensing within 45 days of upgrading to permanently authorize the enabler and ensure uninterrupted operations of the NetWorker server.
I know for a fact because I just upgraded 2 Networker servers from 7.4.x to 7.6.x and in both cases the updated enabled had a 45 expiration date on them - and there is NO license manager installed on these systems.

I do not understand why youa re upgrading the clients first. The recommeneded process form EMC is to upgrade the server first, then the Storeage nodes, then the clients.
The 7.4.x clients are compatible with the NW 7.6.x, so there is no need to wait. You also need to remeber that 7.4 will be in extended service before 7.7 is released.
My recommendation: upgrade the NW server and Storage nodes to 7.6 now. Then upgrade your clients as you can.
Also note that in 7.6 there is a new repository for the upgade of the clients that can be performed there the NW console. On standard clients this will make the process easier.
I will say, though, that I have some trouble with Windows 2003 and 2008 clients, depending on the security settings. In that case, I would suggest using the nsrpush command to access the repository and to push the updates out that way.
