Last access date atribute and Networker

A backup performed by Networker modify the "last access date" attribute of a file? Can be modified this behavior thru registry settings?

Archiving solutions checks this attribute to operate. Every time an application (Networker in this case) open a file, this attribute will be modified. Other applications can modify this behavior through registry settings changes. Networker have this ability?

Well, did a test here and Networker did not change the Last Access Date atribute. Go look for an article named "NetWorker interaction with products using ctime, atime and mtime" in KB, I believe your answer is there.

The problem is under Windows, not Unix (like described in the article)

I never paid attention if atime would change on Windows, but AFAIK there no switch to say not to do it in case that it does.
