MS Cluster Incremental Backup changes to Full

Hello. I am having an issue backing up the virtual clients of a new Microsoft Windows 2003 Cluster. The clients back up perfectly fine from a success standpoint. The only issue is the incremental backups change to a full backup, which shouldn't be happening. The error I receive on the group is:

No full backups of this save set were found in the media database; performing a full backup.

But, they have already completed a full backup, and it completes successfully every day. This happens on every logical volume on every virtual client. The physical cluster clients (used to back up the private disks of the cluster nodes) work correctly, however.

Any ideas?

Check your indexes for the clients, I believe that this data is going to the physical node instead of the virtual one. Once you confirme this, then you can try to fix this (using pathownerignore file or "-c" in the backup command). But check that before.

I checked the indexes and you are correct in the assumption that the indexes are going to the physical cluster nodes.

Using the following command, is "client_name" the physical node or the virtual node?

save -c client_name

virtual one (under assumption you have created virtual client and you are using that one to backup shared data).
