NDMP backup (Level incremental) directly to physical tape.
Hello Guys,
Our total capacity of our NAS backup is 7 TB, due to the capacity constraint on the Data Domain (VTL) i have configured the NAS/ NDMP backup to backup directly to Physical tape media with the 'LEVEL INCREMENTAL' schedule. I haven't tried any recovery on such scenario.
Will it be a Risk? If So, please explain why? and suggest the best practice.

Please consider moving this question as-is (no need to recreate) to the proper forum for maximum visibility. Questions written to the users' own "Discussions" space don't get the same amount of attention and can go unanswered for a long time.
You can do so by selecting "Move" under ACTIONS along the upper-right. Then search and select: "NetWorker Support Forum". There isn't a dedicated community for Data Domain, but all questions have been posted and answered in the NetWorker forum.

It won't be a risk. I assume you have same number of streams as before so nothing really changes.
