Networker 7.5.1 fails VCB backups

Question

We have some problems with getting VCB (1.5.0.4948) to work with Networker 7.5.1.

Saveset: VM:vcb-guest:*FULL*

Proxy backup type: VCB

Proxy backup host: proxy.vcb.local

Old style VCB backup seems to work. But when going with the new method using the hostname of the backuped guest it fails when the image is on the proxy. Seems to get exit code 1 though after doing it manually we saw it was getting exit 0. So for some weird reason it is not starting the backup to tape.

Is this a problem with vmware vcb or networker?

So it has made the image on the disk and just stops.

Managed to get it working. What was missing in the client configuration (as it is said in the admin guide) was the Globals (2 of 2) Configuration > Remote access:

user=system,host=proxy.vcb.local
