Networker client upgrade from NMC succeeds but installs new Program
I am using NMC to upgrade client software versions to 19.1.1.4 the Upgrade succeeds. But, when you check on the Client VM under Programs and Features you see that a Program with a new name "Networker" has been installed with the version 19.1.1.4 (build 168) with the "Networker Extended Client" to match, but the original "Networker Client" remains the old version and still exists. e.g. version 18.2.0.1 build 70.
My question is, has there been a name change for the "Networker Client" program to "Networker" or is there something wrong? Also, if this is by design and the new program "Networker" is supposed to replace "Networker Client" then why isn't the program called "Networker Client" removed?
thanks in advance for your help.
best regards,

Of course we do not know what you did exactly and how you did it but it looks as if you have installed the NW server software on that machine. Please verify which services are installed and which NW daemon processes (nsr..) are running.
AFAIR such can be possible, if you did not initially install the NW client software from the NW client package but the NW client software from the NW server package.
