Networker Console (Java) crashing during large restores

Question

When trying to restore anything over about 100GB through the Networker Console, it ends up crashing and the restore stops. When the Console goes into 'Not Responding', it won't come out of it. I've even allowed 2 days of 'Not Responding', thinking it was still restoring and that it'd come out of it when the restore was finished, but it doesn't. I end up having to close the Console via Task Manager, and try again selecting smaller pieces to restore. Eventually I might have to restore something very large and not be able to select smaller pieces, for instance an exchange database. I have restored via command line before, but I would love to get this java Console thing figured out so that my coworkers can just use the GUI. Has anyone run into this before, and found a fix? I've used the java console on my own workstation, and even tried running it on the Networker server itself. No matter where I run the console, it can't seem to stay alive when I'm restoring large amounts of data. Anything 100GB or less seems to restore just fine. Thank you!

It might buffer size of some kind. Obviously, CLI will work and I'm quite sure ssid restore from GUI too.  You can always check status from CLI with nsrwatch.

Thank you. That does sound very reasonable that it's a java client side issue. I will research how to increase the buffer size and give it another try. Thanks a ton, Hrvoje!
