Networker Disaster! Please help!
I was running networker on Sun Solaris machine and the motherboard of the server failed. I moved the Tape Autoloader to a Windows 2000 machine and installed networker 7.1. I am running backups now without a problem. But I have around 150 tapes which I backep up using the old server. How do I import those tapes to the new server? how can I make them list in the volumes and do restore from old tapes if needed? I want to recreate the whole indexes to the new server. Please help with suitable command

because I dont have another solaris box. I need atleast 30 of those tapes(to cover atleast one month) to scan in. Could you please let me know the command to perform this?334

You might try recovering to a Solaris x86 server. It's not officially supported as far as i know, but if you insure that all your indexes and media db are in the right place you should be able to do an mmrecov. The big question here is if endianness (NUXI problem) will prevent you from actually using the recovered mmdb and indexes.
If it works it will be much better than scanner.
In fact, ebaying a Sparc would probably take less time and still be better than scanner :-p
