Networker - Restore Client with exclude
Hello,
I have got a script for restore my client networker.
1- I put few tapes in my robot.
2- The script restore all clients present on my tapes
3- It's works with Windows client (NTFS) but i have an error when the script find a Unix client (maybe ext2 - ext3 - ext4) on my tapes.
(For your information, i have this error because i restore client ext2/3/4 on a filesystem NTFS)
How i can escape errors ? Can you help me for find a command for excluding UNIX client ?

Ok, but i recover with this command recover - S ssid of the saveset -d destination folder
destination folder = UNC path ?
Or if i add a client, i need to restore with GUI ?

You can restore with the command too.. by the way why do you want to restore to a UNC location. Are you placing all the restored files on a network share ?

OK, I'll think for client linux
I have another question for restoring NOTES, on my library i can see NOTES saveset but my client was deleted.
On my server networker, can i restore with this command or i need add a module ?
nsrnotesrc -s networker server -c name of client lotus -d destination path

The backups done using modules should have the same module running during restore too. Also, the module based restore cannot be done without the index files. so you will have to ensure the respective index files are also present on the backup server for the respective client.

I have index name index:lotusnotes.servername.
I restore index and i backup manualy ?

What does-S [SSID client] mean?
A SSID specifies the SS which includes parameters like client and name.
You do use a command like
recover -iN -d dest_paths -S ssid client
I do not know what will happen in this case.
Otherwise you may want to read this post NW recover: cannot support multiple clients
