NMM Config Check Fails on Library
I am working on an install and when running the config check we have this failure: The Library Messaging API and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1 is not installed. Customer is asking why this is needed and I am not seeing any documentation to answer the question. Why do we need this library to perform the exchange backups? Thanks.

In Exchange Server 2007, the Messaging API (MAPI) and Collaboration Data Objects (CDO)
kit is required for Recovery Storage Group (RSG) support.
Access to Exchange messaging stores utilized by NMM mailbox backups requires the MAPI
and CDO kit. The MAPI client libraries and CDO are not included with Exchange Server
2007 and can be downloaded from Microsoft’s website.
For information on downloading and installing this package, search for “Microsoft
Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1" on the Microsoft
Download Center website. Download version 6.5.8244.0 or later.

included with Exchange Server 2010 and can be downloaded from Microsoft’s website.
