NSR service not coming up...again...

Hi Experts,

I know this is probably an old topic, however i did my part and searched the forums here but the solutions don't work for me so far.

So I'm re-posting:

One of our servers throws this error each time nsr is started.

/etc/init.d/networker start

I got the above detailed info from using the -D9 debug option.

I checked hosts file looks good.

Checked the rpcinfo -p and got this (client side):

Can you check if something is already on ports 7937 and 7938?  Eventually, reboot the machine which should clear any RPC/connection issues.

DinhoEMC,

Run nsrexecd in D5 and see what error you get. If possible direct the output to a file and post the file here.

Is it possible I'm running a mismatch ver of nsr?

Looks weird.

BTW - if you want to see true values instead of variables, run     nsr_render_log /nsr/logs/daemon.raw

It suspect either /etc/hosts (missing localhost entry) and/or firewall settings -verify with   "ipables -L" .

I agree with H. A reboot should clear all the ports.
