nsrexecd leaves behind several defunct processes in Networker 7.6
nsrexecd leaves behind several defunct processes in Networker 7.6. but as per the EMC Networker release notes, this bug should have been fixed in the EMC Networker 7.6 release. Kindly suggest why we have these defunct processes in our setup even if we are at 7.6 version

Hi,
As per the release notes, yes the issue number LGTsc31564 has been fixed in NetWorker 7.6 , so this should be fixed, may be you have another issues with nsrexecd not related to this issue.
Did you tried to stop the services and rename the nsrladb to nsrladb.old (which is under the /nsr/res folder ) then restart the services again ?
Is there any information or error messages in the daemon log related to this issue ? If there please provide the error messages to identify the root causes of the issue. Also update me if renaming nsrladb fix the problem.
