NW Module for Oracle Win

A customer has an Oracle installation over Win2003 and need to configure RMAN to use with NW Module. Is there any special consideration about the configuration of RMAN? There are many of them, I suppose.
Thanks

There is nothing special really. Recommended is to use catalog database, but you can also use controlfile (depending what your retention would be).

Refer to the installation guide and check for pre-requisites etc. RMAN needs to be configured on the catalog server with RMAN user having priviledges.

OK, but the DBA need to know what type of configuration could be used, because there are a lot.

Hm... Do you know to what DBA is really referring to here? Try to ask them that. With NW, you simply use RMAN and that's. How it is configured on Oracle end it is Oracle thing.

Yes, I know that. But the customer asks us about if a special RMAN configuration is needed (or recommended) to work fine with NW module.
