when I fire up an RMAN backup using NetWorker, I see a number of the following messages in daemon.log:
71659 31-8-2010 14:02:34 nsrd docdb1.corp.zain.local:RMAN:c-2167700397-20100831-02 done saving to poolDefault (ZN0240) 16 MB 76640 31-8-2010 14:02:34 savegrp Failed to process job state change: No save instance found with job id 531711 80249 31-8-2010 14:02:34 savegrp Failed to process job completion attributes message: No save instance found with job id 531711 80250 31-8-2010 14:02:34 savegrp Failed to process job exit status: No save instance found with job id 531711 76640 31-8-2010 14:02:34 savegrp Failed to process job state change: No save instance found with job id 531711
Yet, checking with mminfo reveals that there's data actually written to tape. It seems to be a local problem on the NW server (NW7.5SP3, win2008R2).

Hello jvd,
This is a known issue ("fake alarms" - no impact - NW120466) which has been resolved with 7.5.3.2 .
Please confirm the bit version of your NW 7.5.3 server and and I will upload the binaries to a ftp loacation for you.
Thanks.
J
