Online Notes Backup

While backing up using online agent for Lotus Notes, the backup get skipped/aborted giving compaction errors. The file could not be backed up because it is being compacted.

Any clues to avoid this and get all the files backed up.

    SKIPDBERRORS does not handle this.

Any other way to get this done.

Well, if file can't be backed up - it can't. You could try NSR_SKIPDBERRORS, but I'm not sure if this variable handles this specific case.

Thanks, there is a parameter NSR_NOTES_CONNECT_TIMEOUT that should help.

The only issue is to configure this for the maximum no. of seconds it takes for the largest file to complete compaction.
