Question on Running Networker 7.2 and Windows 2003 64bit

I do not see a 64bit client for Windows 2003 and Networker 7.2. The 32bit client is being installed in C:\program files (x86). In the client config on INDEX tab, executable path field : C:\program files (x86)\legato
sr\bin The error message I am recieving is: *save: SYSTEM error: client `mysites.alpha.ec.local' is not properly configured on the NetWorker Server

This is a client configuration issue. Check for the correct aliases in the aliases field. IF not allready done, update the Client's IP, single name & FQDN there.This should resolve the problem.

To fully support 64bit client install 64bit client. x64 client exists as of 7.3.x versions.

From what you have said here, it sounds as you wish to install backup server on x64 platform and you installed 32 bit application. That should not be done.

If on the other hand you are trying to change index path in client resource bare in mind that index path is index path on backup server and not on that client.
