Register a client by it's IP address
Hello we are running networker 18.2 and for a number of reasons we need our orchestrator to register clients by their IP address. I have tried this via the API and networker fails to register the client saying it cannot resolve the name (even though I specified an IP). Is there any way to achieve this? After the VM is fully provisioned we'll update networker with the fqdn but we need to be able to pre-register without having a dependency on DNS.

Just fake NW by using a temp entry in the hosts table.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately I don't have access to do that. Another team (outsourced) manages networker. I only have API access.
