savegrp.exe Error - faulting module liblocal.dll, version 7.3.3.0

Question

Every day when backup is running I get a message box error and can see an Application Error in Windows Appliation Log::

Faulting application savegrp.exe, version 7.3.3.0, faulting module liblocal.dll, version 7.3.3.0, fault address 0x0001d550.

In daemon.log there is a normal entry:
10/24/07 22:45:14 nsrd: backupclient.fqdn:index:backupserver.fqdn done saving to pool 'poolname' (poolname.001) 674 KB

I use Networker 7.3 SP3 (or 7.3.3.0).

Is there any solution to avoid this error? Otherwise everything seems to be ok ?!?

You will need to check that with your support, but they will probably advise you to apply ftp://ftp.legato.com/pub/NetWorker/Updates/LGTsc07813/

I'm not sure, but I think this error is shown every day after exchange backup is finished.

There is an other bug I think. In the Networker Console the group for Exchange Backup never stops, although all savesets finished.

Perhaps therefrom I get the application error every day?

Some more information:I use Networker Module 5.1 for Microsoft Exchange Server to backup Exchange in a cluster.thx for any help.Curtis

Yes, we are using Exchange Online Modul 5.1 because of our Microsoft Exchange Cluster.
- How to obtain the patch?
- I think using the last 5.0 module build is not possible because of 64bit support and exchange cluster?
- update to 7.4 perhaps in a few month, but not yet

By any chance are you using EXCH module 5.1? Because what you have said is known thing for 5.1 modules (both SQL and Exchange) against 7.3SP3 servers and workaround is one of following:
- obtain patch from support for 7.3SP3
- use latest 5.0 module builds
- update to 7.4

We have the same problem sporadically on one SAN-drive of a dedicated storage-node but from save.exe (Faulting application save.exe, version 7.3.3.0, faulting module liblocal.dll, version 7.3.3.0, fault address 0x0001d550). Is there a patch for save.exe as well?
