Hi,

     Please try to mark the secondary copy as suspect and then perform the restore and let me know the status.

If we take the secondary copy off line or mark as suspect it will them mount the primary copy

I can think of two things,

           1. either the backup has a problem (have you tried another backup and see if you can observe the same kind of behavior)

           2. You can try to stop NetWorker services, then rename temp folder on the Server and restart Services. (This will erase job history from the GUI)

           3. It could be a bug, Support would need to validate that.

EMC support  was able to provide a solution

Go to HKLM/Software/Legato/NetWorker/NWFS/

Create string named STORAGENODE

STORAGENODE    REG_SZ  DataDomain HostName

No Events found!
