Hi All -
We are trying to backup SQL and on Win 2008
We have created a service account with logon priveleges and full sysadmin rights to SQL
What permission does this account need on the local box?

Hi Abid,
I am assuming you are using NMM? 2.4? For the SQL backup.
If you are also planning in backing up your Windows 2008 Filesystem, the user should also have Local (Machine) Admin permissions.
You can also specify a Domain account, with enough permissions to Work with SQL and the Filesystem, if there is a domain setup in your environment.
