SYSTEM writers disappearing during schedule FS backups for Windows 2012
Hi All,
we have strange issue in our environment.
whenever schedule FS backups run via networker for windows 2012 machines, backups will fail with below error.
"DISASTER_RECOVERY:\ 98266:save: The VSS System Writer is not found on this system. The backup is stopping because the System Writer is required for a successful system state backup. Have the system administrator check the VSS infrastructure and fix the issue"
In the server System writers look disappeared. So we will make the system writers available by restarting cryptographic services and retrigger backup again. backups will complete successfully. The next day again schedule backup failure with same error.
Is anyone facing this issue?
we are facing this only for windows 2012 machines. Is there anything need to check with Microsoft? because only networker backup creating this issue. windows backups running fine.
let us know if any permanent fix is available.

I have seen the same with Win2k8. Not sure if System State backup using Windows Server Backup fails with error: System writer is not found in the backup is applicable to win2k12 too, but give it a try... Check also VSS System Writer is missing
