This is not an easy job as the NDMP configuration is
- Filer specific
- NDMP version specific
- NW client specific
- Setup specific
So far I just that the NDMP data backup itself runs fine but the step which extract the file index data does not run successfully for whatever reason. There might be additional messages which might indicate the problem.
BTW - do you backup to disk or tape? - And do you use DSA at all?

replacing savesets by only /vol1 works good this time

hello
I use FAS NetApp Release 9.5P14
The error appears with only one FAS of my structure wich contains >80 FAS
I backup on DataDomain
this night I try to replace the saved savesets
/vol1/directory1
/vol1/directory2
/vol1/directory3
/vol1/directory4
...
by /vol1
the save is still running, I think that it can solve my problem, i will tell here if ok
