the client's data is backuped to default pool at all time

To get an idea of what is going we would need to know settings for the pool VOICELTO2 first. I remember there was an issue (but I believe that was in earlier versions) when client which would have retry on saveset would use Default pool for its second try... however I don't think that would be the case here. Second issue which comes to mind is with NDS backups (Netware), but this is more related to client than server so that should not be the issue as well.

I would suggest to send us nsradmin output for VOICELTO2 pool to see the settings and output from daemon.log when this problem occurs - it might help to see what is the problem.

the nexr is the error report to savegrp.log,it look like cannot backup to LToVoicepool, then retry, backup data to default pool.

Looking at the failure message:

Our group failing is called szkf_fs2 which is not in the list of allowed groups for that pool - if another pool does not match up it will use the default pool, which it is doing.

Run a backup of the group szfs_Voice and see if that resolves the problem.

Yes, it is known issue where when savefs when it fails it will try to use Default pool. In your case it fails with "Cannot obtain disk quota information". It looks like permission issue - can you check if nsrexecd is running as system on that box? Or is there anything else what could mess savefs during the discovery of the file system layout on the box? (like NTFS mount being is in strange state). Do you see the same error when you define savesets and run the backup from server (instead of saveset All)? I assume client initiated backups are just fine, right?

Looking at the data above the client resource you sent does not contain that group; have you configured a second client resource?

I would assume so as originally we had 2 clients in the group and one doing wrong thing - and last output has only one client so that has to be a new groups or something changed in the meantime...

I only backup driver E of this server,and I found the everyone account don't have full permission of root folder of driver E, the system account of windows was not listed in secure table of root folder,and I have added it.

So we still have the error... Hm. You said that the only change was upgrade... Was it upgrade of server/storage node or clients as well?

yes,other server is upgraded too.this server report "cannot obtain disk quota..." before upgrade yet, but is reported in "successful Save Sets",and the group can finished successfully.

I believe the best thing is to open this with whoever is your support and have them connect to you and see what is the issue - that should speed up the things.

savefs is not doing backup (but save is). I would suggest to open this with whoever is giving you support and ask them to have a closer look - it is probably something obvious and us missing that.

When you readded the client did you amend the group you wanted it to backup to so that it included the newly added client (if I remember correctly you would need to remove the client and group from the pool in order to be able to delete them).
