Windows 2000 Cluster backup works with full but not incremental backup

Windows 2000 cluster backup works with full backup not incremental backup
Group contains Node_A, Node_B & Virtual Node_C
SaveSets Local Drives (C: & D:)& Cluster resources (H: & K:)
Incremental/Full Backup works OK on each Node_A & Node_B
Incremental Fails on Virtual Node_C
Full Backup works OK on Virtual Node
Schedule =M,T,W,T (Incr) and F(Full), S, S (Skip)

1. If you did something wrong with original post do not open second thread for the same thing - simply edit existing one.
2. You say incremental fails - well how does it fail?

Thanks for the reply, sorry not very clear earlier, the incremental runs like a Full backup everytime.

Oh that's easy then. That problem arises when NetWorker can't find previous save and it assumes current one in as first one - so it is done as full backup. In cluster environments that happens when you have NetWorker configuration not configured correctly and data belonging to cluster goes against index for one of physical nodes (one against it runs at the time of backup). To force it to use virtual name as workaround use save -c virtualclient in backup command field.

That you would be first person to not get it work with that or something else is wrong. Please send your daemon.log showing error, mminfo output and check also with nsrinfo where does index go. Also, check $NSR_HOME\index area to see what names do you have (hostname vs FQDN).
