3348 Configuration Help
Hello Guys, Due to the current pandemic situation across the globe, I am working from home. For My Company Akai metal, I have 2 stacked 3348 switches and am seeking to optimize performance. They are replacing 4 - 24 port 3Com hubs. Requests are being broadcasted across the network. What is the best and easiest way to eliminate broadcasts, other than creating VLANs? I've enabled IGMP Snooping. Will this help?

Hi AkaiM.
From what I know about it, this should be a fair way to resolve unwanted traffic, yes.
With IGMP snooping enabled globally, a Dell PowerConnect switch will forward IP multicast traffic only to interfaces with group members attached.
