Hi timejason,
So neither switch is in master mode? You may want to try to remove the stack and recreate it. Page 955 https://dell.to/3053Ai3

Hi,
so I found out that I've done everything correct. The stacking was fine and one switch was in master mode while we other one was in standby.
After I have plugged in some network cable into the standby switch I saw that on the master node it recognised it.
Anyway thanks for your answer.
