Backing up and restoring configs - extensions?
Configs on the Dell PC switches don't require a file extension when saving (copying) to a tftp server. So, I have been saving them with a .bak extension as backups. When restoring startup/running configuration files that were backed up, is it necessary to remove that extension beforehand or does it matter to the switch?

Also, just to be sure, the 'boot' files to be copied to the switches must have a .rfb extension? And the 'image' file must have a .ros extension?
