Bandwidth average on an interrface

Question

Hi,

I have a powerconnect 5524 and i search how to view the bandwitch use on an interface during x minutes.

I know the command line : show rmon statistics and show interface counter but i prefer an average value of 5, 15min or 1H.

In fine, i should be upgrade my network but i must have the correct value for sizing the futur equipment.

Hi,

There doesn’t seem to be a way to do this within the switch. You may be able to use Openmanage Network manager to get more information. http://www.dell.com/ae/business/p/dell-openmanage-network-manager/pd
