connecting 4 6248 switch using stacking unit
Hi,
I have 4 6248 units. connected according to page 5 here :

the manual states that the units has to be brought up in a certain order master be turned on first and then the rest of the units .
what happens when I have power failure ?
from the little experience I had, it took several times of restarts to the units until all the network was reachable (sometimes other units took over as master etc etc.)

in my scenario I have 4 switches connected via stacking cables.
today one of the switches ups failed and as soon as it got up all the remaining 3 switches became masters.
this also resulted in the network not being reachable for some of the clients
only bringing the switches back up at the right order fixed network availability.
I really don't mind other units being masters as long as the network keeps working.
any Idea on why this would happen ?
