Connecting 5424 with 3-COM Superstack II 1000BASE-T Module

​Hi,​

​I have a two stacks of old 3COM SuperStack II switchs with the 1000Base-T Modules connecting them. I want to connect the two stacks to a 5424 switch using the 1000Base-T modules. Will this work? What kind of things should I watch out for?​

​Before I would switch over the links from the 1000Base-T modules, I thought to maintain network connections I would use a cross-over cable and connect a 100Mb port from each stack to the 5424. I could then disconnect these ports once the 1000Base-T ports were connected. Would this work as well?​

​Any help would be greatly appreciated.​
