Is the firmware up to date? Are you using Dell transceivers?

Hi,

Thanks for your response,

Yes, I updated the switches to latest: "6.5.3.7"

unit active backup current-active next-active
---- ----------- ----------- -------------- --------------
1 6.5.3.7 6.5.1.3 6.5.3.7 6.5.3.7
2 6.5.3.7 6.5.1.3 6.5.3.7 6.5.3.7

Most (90%) from the cables are Dell DAC cables, and I have 4 Transceivers also from Dell with Dell Logo (I buy Everything form same Dell Dealer and we did double check and everything is Dell Recommendation).

Hi,

Thanks for your response,

Yes, I Updated the switches (Stack) to lates: 6.5.3.7

unit active backup current-active next-active
---- ----------- ----------- -------------- --------------
1 6.5.3.7 6.5.1.3 6.5.3.7 6.5.3.7
2 6.5.3.7 6.5.1.3 6.5.3.7 6.5.3.7

Most of the cables (90%) are Dell DAC Cables, and I have 4 transceivers on each switch it's also Dell with Dell Logo.
We also did double check with my Dell Dealer and they confirmed that all my hardware on those switches is Dell Recommendation,

Please note that all the hardware in my Datacenter is Dell excepting the firewalls (Fortigate).
1. Servers are Dell R730 (New)
2. Switches N4032f (New)
3. Storages are Dell SVC 3020 (New)
4. Firewalls Fortigates 500E (New)
5. Cables Dell DAC - Connect between the servers and storages and Firewalls to the two Switches.
6. Dell Transceivers (with Dell logo "New"): Connect the switches to our Hosting Provider.

I have the same issue or packet loss in al the connected interfaces:
Received packets dropped > MTU: ............... 167380
Transmitted oversized packets: ................ 27478
Internal MAC Rx Errors: ....................... 167380

The Transceivers interfaces that connected the switches I(our Backbone) to our Hosting Provider its have only "Received packets dropped > MTU" & "Internal MAC Rx Errors" without "Transmitted oversized packets" like all other interfaces.

Received packets dropped > MTU: ............... 128265
Transmitted oversized packets: ................ 0
Internal MAC Rx Errors: ....................... 128265

Thanks,

Diab
