Dell OS 6 - Enable

Question

Hi I am running Dell 2048n series switch. When I log in with admin account - I dont log in privilege mode but need to 'enable' User is set to privelige 15. There is no enable password.. What I am missing.. Running version 6.6.0.21 aaa new model username test password test privilege 15 aaa authentication login 'defaultList' local aaa authentication enable 'enableList' none aaa authorization exec 'exec-list' local

Hi, I am not sure what you are asking. Are you asking how to automatically be in the enable mode?

Hi Josh,

I am incurring in the same issue.

But I do not any aaa authentication set up so I do not have aaa newmodel.

username test password test privilege 15

I tried to perform the following commands with now success:

conf t
line ssh
no enable authentication

but I still cannot login obtaining the # prompt immediately.

can you please help?
