Dell X1026P can not access internet
Dear All,
I have a problem with Dell X1026 switch. There is an initial condition topology :
With this topology the SW2 can not access the internet. In the PC after connected to the SW2 the internet is suddenly no internet, and I wait an hour, still no internet access.
But after I change to this topology (with the same cable) :
With this topology the PC when connected to SW2 can access the internet. For more information I give you the pieces of my configuration in core switch.
For CoreSwitch1 : here
For CoreSwitch2 : here
My question is, can I use the initial topology and the internet run well like my last topology ? What's wrong with my configs ?
Please kindly need your help.

Hi,
Are there links between the two core switches? Is spanning tree enabled? Are there any errors in the logs? Is it just the internet that stops working or all network traffic?

What does show spanning-tree detail show? Before and after connecting the switches, it sounds like it is shutting down a loop and the traffic is getting blocked.

Hi josh,
My apologies for the delay email, this time the switch has been in the production period, and for the information when I do testing port (gi2/0/2) CoreSwitch2 to connect laptop and setting vlan 101 (ex: IP : 10.0.1.100, netmask : 255.255.255.0, gateway: 10.0.1.254) I can not connect to the internet.
Then finally we connected SW1 and SW2 to the CoreSwitch1 all. I give you a sh spanning tree detail of the two core switches.
For Core Switch 1 click here
For Core Switch 2 click here
Surprisingly there are some switches that use the same topology (initial topology) with similar configuration and just different VLAN, but running normally (to the Internet). Here I give a sh spanning tree detail of the two core switches with the initial topology and running normally.
For Core Switch 1 click here
For Core Switch 2 click here
Could it be there is damage to the port gi2/0/2 on Core Switch 2 ?
Please, kindly need your help.
Thanks before.

It is possible, but unlikely that there is an issue with the port. Does it have link lights and show an up status when something is connected to it?
