Dell X1052 networking switch
If I reset the switch back to factory settings, will it remove all of the configuration and can I use it without configuring anything on it. Our network is simple, and its the only switch that has any type of management configured. The tech that did it is no longer with us. Can we just wipe it out and use it like our other switches, just to connect our servers & PCs?

Hello,
what you are asking is if the switch can work without the managed mode. Unfortunately not, this model doesn't have the unmanaged mode, as you can see in this article https://dell.to/3sgsKXu
If you reset the switch it come back to the default configuration. You can of course use this switch with the default configuration, without any advanced configuration.
