ESXi do not ping uplink switch

Hello Guys, I have a dell chassis M1000e with A1 and A2 modules being MXL 10/40 GbE. I also have 10GBE KR 4 port I/O modules on both switches. My problem is I cannot ping the esxi on any blade inside the chassis and naturally i cannot ping the uplink switch from the esxi's. Also, I am not able to ping between the blades esxi and other blades esxi. Is it something to do with vlan to port mapping on the blade switch? When i ssh to any of the blade switches, i can ping my external network normally. Am I missing any configuration?
