firmware crash Powerconnect 5224 ?

Thank u.

Found the password after some guessing :)

Now new problem.

i changed ip to 10.0.0.13
Changed ip of my pc to 10.0.0.20
Then i did Firmware upgrade.

And now i can't connect to 10.0.0.13, no ping, telnet, http

i think something went wrong with the firmeware.

i used this firmware PC_5224_v31016_Firmware.zip
from http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&releaseid=R99961&formatcnt=2&fileid=129313


What can i do to update the firmware agane? or put the old one back.

if you search on this forum you will find a password recovery procedure for all the dell managed switches. You will need to connect to the switch through a console cable for it to work. If you dont have the console cable, i believe it is just a standard RS232 cable.

Can't  connect to the dell switch if i use the console cable.

Need some help.
