How can I setup IP each port?

What is the intended use of the connection between the Cisco 3560 and the PowerConnect 8024?

=> Actually, I don't know exactly network diagram's information. But I guess my customer's meaning.

Maybe he want it just communication for the outside nework.

Do you just need it to send untagged traffic back and forth?

You said Dell switch already configure STP!.. maybe cisco 3560G does not include STP by default?

Ah.. sir! I have a question about STP sort!

STP's sorts are separated with two.

One is IEEE standard, Another is Cisco exclusive.

As you referred, 3560G use PVST+ by default, it is Cisco exclusive version.

To connect Dell switch and Cisco switch, I think dell and cisco's STP sort is same! right?

Because Dell is not Cisco, I should configure 3560G's STP mode from PVST+ to STP.(Maybe Dell 8024F use STP sort)

The reason why I continually make a question to you is its setting procedure is very important to us..

I want to get perfect information from Dell.
