Lag between PowerConnect 8164f and Force10
I have the attached setup but if ienable the port-channels on the Force10 switches it causes the server on the right to lose access to the 10gb storage.
The stacked switches are PowerConnect 8164f and the Force10 switches are MX in a M1000 blade chassis.
Is it possible i have a loop somewhere?

Hi jasonhall87,
If it is just individual links to the force10 and not a portchannel it works fine? Is it just a single VLAN that you are passing traffic on or are there multiple VLANs? From what you have shown it doesn’t look like there is a loop unless the MXLs have a link between them as well. You could enable spanning tree and test to see if it blocks anything. You may also want to update the firmware on the 8164Fs there were some issues with port channels that were fixed. http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=54PXP&fileId=3396017490&osCode=NAA&productCode=powerconnect-8100&languageCode=EN&categoryId=NI

Thanks Josh, yes its fine without the port channel and its just a single default VLAN i am passing.
There is no link between the MXL's
I will update the firmware and enable spanning tree and see if it highlights any issues
