M1000e with M8024 (problem connecting to switch)

I have a Dell Poweredge M1000E blade chassis with two M8024 switches.

I configured the IP addresses of the M8024 (B1 and B2) from the web CMC.

All ports on the chassis controllers are connected to my network.

I can connect with no problems to the M8024 in B2 slot, but cannot connect / ping / access the M8024 in B1.  I have tried power cycling/reseating the switch but no luck.

Any suggestions?  I have not tried to do anything via SERIAL connection.
