Micro USB console cable

Hi All,

We have inherited a couple of dell switches which don't seem to have any IP addresses configured. The switch don't have the console cables with them.

Does anyone know where I can buy a Micro USB console cable for X1026p/1052p switches.

Hi Tech2020,

you may use any generic µUSB to USB-A cable for basic initial configuration.

Virtual console drivers are included in the firmware package available here.

Please note our X-Series switches are considered as web-managed and you can perform full configuration only there.

Initial setup can also be done via web interface on the default IP address 192.168.2.1

The Getting Started Guide will have more details for you.
