Multicast on N2048 Is it possible?
I have been tasked to have ( Multicast ) Multi cast on a stack that runs a VLAN for our imaging line. I have found many post that say that the 2000 ( N2048 )series does not have the ability to enable it nor am I able to configure it. But I see where it is shown and they list the 2000 and 3000 series. Am i fighting a battle I have already lost? Thanks ahead.

It doesn’t say that Level 2 multicast is limited to the N3000. Page 925 http://downloads.dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_ser_stor_net/esuprt_networking/esuprt_net_fxd_prt_swtchs/networking-n2000-series_administrator-guide10_en-us.pdf
Layer 3 multicast is not available on the N2000 Page 106.
