Multiple VLAN with same IP subnet
Hi, I am new to VLAN and wanted to know if I could configure two VLAN on my Dell 5324 to use the same IP subnet?
VLAN 1 192.168.1.1-192.168.1.250
VLAN 2 192.168.1.251 through 192.168.1.254
Our firewall is connected to port 1 which would be set as a member of VLAN 1 and 2.
Our guest wireless access point is connected to port 2 which would be set as a member of VLAN 2.
Ultimately I would like to keep the guest wireless traffic off our production network while providing the guest users with Internet access. If possible I do not wish to configure our firewall to support a second IP subnet.
