N2224-ON Switch Problems

Brand new switch, started going thru the configuration process with the console open. Something happened half way through the process and now i just get the oni install menu options and it goes into an infinite loop and keeps rebooting. Is there a way to get it back to factory settings? Please help.

    Hello,

To resolve the ONIE install loop on your N2224-ON switch:

    Connect via console.
Reboot the switch and enter the ONIE menu.
    Select ONIE: Rescue.
    At the prompt, run: onie-uninstall
    Reboot the switch.
This will reset the switch to factory defaults. Let us know if you need help reinstalling the OS.

Dev Technosys explains that Dell N2224-ON switch problems often involve firmware bugs, configuration mismatches, or hardware issues. Common symptoms include port flaps, connectivity drops, or VLAN misbehavior. Verify firmware updates, reset to factory defaults if needed, check cabling, and review logs.
