Powerconnect 8024 NBase-T Negotiation

I am wondering if the Powerconnect 8024 can use 2.5Base-T and 5Base-T Connections?

I know much, but not all the hardware that only advertises Gigabit and 10G negotiations will also do 2.5 and 5, but that is not always the case.

Does anyone know if this is the case for a 8024, or if it is limited to 1/10G connections?

Thanks

Hello drsassafras,

The PowerConnect 8024 front panel provides 24 100M/1G/10GBase-T ports:

In regards to user's configuration guide, Flow Control Support in switch complies with IEEE802.3z, IEEE 802.3, IEEE802.3u, IEEE802.3ab, IEEE802.3az, IEEE802.3an standards but not with 802.3BZ, which is Flow Control Support for 2.5GBASE-T and 5GBASE-T. Based on this information it can be concluded that switch doesn't support 2.5Base-T and 5Base-T connections.
