Private VLAN on PowerConnect 6224
Hello. I am new user with Powerconnect 6224 and i ask to isolate all ports of switch to "see" only one of them who will be connected to router. I ask to try isolate traffic between all computers connected to other port of switch. It is possible to make that with 6224? I hope you understand me.

Hi,
Are all of the ports on the same VLAN? Is routing enabled on the switch? This switch doesn’t have a private VLAN mode. The best way is to create an access control list that deny’s traffic on the ports except for the router port. Sorry for my delay. Yes. All ports are in same VLAN. Routing is not enabled. It is possible to make that with "PROTECTED PORT CONFIGURATION". If i make one PROTECTED GROUP and all other ports insert in that group, without that port who must "see"? It is correct solution, without make ACL?

The protected port would allow you to deny traffic to all ports in the group, so it should work for what you want and have them only be able to reach the one port that isn’t in the protected group.
